WILL HAVEN: Release Date Set For 'Hierophant'
April 3, 2007Sacramento metalcore heroes WILL HAVEN will release their new album, "Hierophant", on June 19 in the United States through Bieler Bros. Records (one day earlier internationally). Heralded by band guitarist Jeff Irwin as "by far the best stuff we have ever done" and featuring production by Shaun Lopez (FAR, REVOLUTION SMILE) and DEFTONES vocalist Chino Moreno, "Hierophant" will be WILL HAVEN's first release since 2001's critically acclaimed "Carpe Diem". It is also the group's first effort with new singer Jeff Jaworski (RED TAPE),who replaced original vocalist Grady Avenell.
Following the release of "Carpe Diem", WILL HAVEN seemed primed for the spotlight as the band headlined venues in the United States and Europe alike, adorned metal magazine covers and was tagged "Saviors of Rock Music" by U.K. music-press powerhouse Kerrang! Then, without warning, the band announced they would be going on indefinite hiatus. That hiatus would last until 2006 when amidst much speculation WILL HAVEN returned with a co-headline tour of the U.K. with CROWBAR and a subsequent record deal with fast rising indie label powerhouse Bieler Bros. Records.
With production wrapped on "Hierophant", WILL HAVEN is currently touring Europe with longtime friends DEFTONES. Remaining dates for the run are as follows:
Apr. 03 - Zurich @ Volkshaus
Apr. 04 - Milan @ Alcatrazz
Apr. 06 - Clermont-Ferrad @ Coop de mai
Apr. 09 - Amsterdam @ Paradiso
Apr. 10 - Brussles @ Halles de Schaerbeek
Apr. 12 - London @ The Metro (headline show)
